About Southern House & Garden
We are a truly unique venue in that we provide a stress free personalized service. Although we specialize in weddings, Southern House & Garden is also a wonderful location for corporate parties, teas, rehearsal dinners or any other special event.
Southern House & Garden consists of a spacious house, barn, gazebo and gardens.
The house includes a large banquet room for ceremonies, receptions, or a sit down dinner. The banquet room also is equipped with a 42" LCD T.V. with DVD and iPod connection. In addition, the entire house, porches and gazebo are equipped with a sound system. There are numerous other rooms that can be used for set up of bride and groom's cakes and food. We have an elegantly decorated bridal lounge for dressing with private bath plus two other guest restrooms. The house also includes three inviting porches that overlook our beautifully manicured gardens and water features.
Our property consists of six acres of tree lined rolling pasture with horses in view. It is truly a beautiful backdrop for any event.
The heated and cooled 48x48 barn with 17' ceilings features a chandelier and lanterns. With English pub tables and a farm table, it is decorated with a rustic feel. It is also equipped with a 52" LCD T.V. with DVD and iPod connection. Although rustic, the barn includes a kitchen with ice maker and groom's room and two restrooms.
